Trials at Neville Hill, Leeds

During it’s time at Neville Hill the 08e hauled 450 tonnes over a similar distance to that undertaken at Whatley Quarry, but less height and used about 12 kWh. Therefore a 4 pod unit could undertake 30 similar hauls without recharge. Again the resident 08 shunter drivers commented on how familiar the driver controls were and that it was relatively easy to drive the 08e shunter.
